FAQ
What does a project manager do, and how does the "Project Management (Fundamentals)" continuing education course prepare you for this role?
Project managers plan, manage, and close out projects, and support the people driving change within the company. The Project Management (Fundamentals) continuing education program prepares you for this by walking you through a project from initiation to reporting and, depending on the focus, either strategically evaluating AI initiatives or supporting change using change management frameworks. Excel, AI tools, and automation support you in your day-to-day project work.
What tools and methods will I learn in the Project Management (Fundamentals) training course?
You’ll learn step by step: First, you’ll ensure data quality; then you’ll learn about project management using traditional and agile methods, supplementing this with change management or strategic AI management—depending on your focus—and, in some cases, using Microsoft Copilot. With n8n, you’ll automate workflows and build your own AI agents. Hands-on projects, live sessions, and our coaches guide you through each module.
What practical projects will I carry out in the Project Management (Fundamentals) continuing education course?
In the capstone project for the Project Management specialization, you will carry out a complete project from initiation through reporting. Depending on your focus, you’ll also plan an integrated change project that includes a stakeholder analysis, a set of KPIs, and a communication roadmap; develop an AI roadmap with a business case and governance framework; or implement a Copilot project across multiple apps. In addition, you’ll work on an n8n workflow and a portfolio project with feedback from our coaches.
Who is the "Project Management (Fundamentals)" continuing education course intended for, and how does it differ from the "Project Management" continuing education course?
