What is Data Science?
Data scientists develop models that derive predictions and patterns from data, while also understanding how those results impact the business. With this continuing education program, you’ll demonstrate your expertise in machine learning, programming, and integrating results into organizations. Your StackFuel certificates and portfolio will showcase this to employers.
Why is this data scientist training course helpful, and what benefits do the certificates offer you?
You’ll learn to query data using SQL, verify and prepare it in Excel, and visualize it as dashboards in Power BI. You’ll analyze data using Python and pandas, develop machine learning models in the data science module, and write maintainable code using object-oriented programming. Through business analysis and change management, you’ll model processes and support change initiatives; with n8n, you’ll build AI agents; and in a portfolio project, you’ll apply your knowledge in a real-world context. You’ll learn all of this during scheduled class times, supported by live sessions and our coaches.

FAQ
What does a data scientist do, and how does a data science training program prepare you for that role?
A data scientist develops models that derive predictions and patterns from data. The data science continuing education program takes you from data analysis in Excel, SQL, Power BI, and Python to supervised and unsupervised machine learning, the fundamentals of neural networks, and the processing of large datasets. Business analysis—and, depending on your focus, change management or strategic AI management—will help you embed results within organizations.
What tools and methods will I learn in the data science training program?
You’ll move from the data foundation to the model: data quality, SQL, and Python analytics form the foundation, upon which you’ll build supervised and unsupervised machine learning, neural networks, and the processing of large datasets. Object-oriented programming makes your code maintainable, while business analysis—and, depending on your focus, change management or strategic AI management—anchors the results. Hands-on projects, live sessions, and our coaches support each module.
What practical projects will I work on during the data science training program?
In a final exam, you’ll develop predictive models based on large datasets and discuss the results with our coaching team. In addition, you’ll complete two final projects in Python—an interface to a data science library and your own blockchain—as well as hands-on projects in SQL and Power BI and a portfolio project with feedback from our coaches. Depending on your focus, you’ll also plan a change project or an AI roadmap.
Who is the Data Science continuing education program intended for, and how does it differ from continuing education programs in data analysis and business intelligence?
The Data Science continuing education program is a good fit if you want to develop predictive models and machine learning. Level: Advanced. You have professional experience in advanced programming with Python or in analyzing large datasets. Compared to the Data Analysis course, this one includes data science and object-oriented programming; compared to the Business Intelligence course, it also includes Python. This makes it more comprehensive than both.
How long does the data science training program last, and how does it work?
The Data Science continuing education program is a full-time program and lasts 10.9 to 11.6 months, depending on the focus. It consists of 11 modules, including a portfolio project in which you apply what you’ve learned. You’ll learn during scheduled class times with live sessions led by our coaches. The current start dates are listed in the table on this page. Would you like a personalized consultation about your continuing education options? Feel free to contact our team: info@stackfuel.com
How can I finance my data science training?
With an education voucher, the Jobcenter or the Agency for Employment will cover 100% of the costs if you are registered as unemployed or a job seeker. As an employee, you can have your employer finance your continuing education through the Qualification Opportunities Act (QCG). Self-paying participants can pay directly or in installments. Our advisory team will guide you through the process until approval is granted.
What are the requirements?
You have professional experience in advanced Python programming or in analyzing large datasets.
