Ukraine Scholarship: Privacy Policy

The processing of personal data is essential for the participation in our scholarship. Therefore, it is necessary to provide your data if you want to participate in the Data Analyst Focus Python course that is granted within the scholarhip. In the following, you will learn what happens to your data and what rights you have under the General Data Protection Regulation.

For what purpose do we process your data?

We process your data to provide an optimal training experience. We use your data to:

  • Evaluate whether you can be granted a place in the scholarship
  • Contact you
  • Provide you with access to our platform
  • Provide you with information about the training process
  • Support you in your training
  • Provide you with a certificate and restore it in case of loss
  • To continuously improve the training platform


For this purpose, we use your contact data, application data, IP address, learning progress data and any other data that you voluntarily provide. The processing of the data is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b) and f) GDPR in connection with our interest in the selection of the participants. 

Your data will only be passed on to processors who provide essential services for the implementation of the training. In doing so, they will always remain in the EU.

How long will the data be stored?

Your data will be stored as long as necessary for the scholarship application process, the training, and a backup period of six months.

What rights do you have under the General Data Protection Regulation?

You have the right to receive information about your stored data (Art. 15 DSGVO). If incorrect personal data is processed, you have the right to rectification (Art. 16 DSGVO). If the legal requirements are met, you can request the deletion or restriction of processing and object to processing (Art. 17, 18 and 21 GDPR). Furthermore, you have the right to data portability (Art. 20 DSGVO). In addition, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority for data protection.
