The processing of personal data is essential for the participation in our online courses. Therefore, it is necessary to provide your data if you want to participate in our courses. In the following, you will learn what happens to your data and what rights you have under the General Data Protection Regulation.

For what purpose do we process your data?

We process your data to provide an optimal training experience. We use your data to:

  • Provide you with access to our platform
  • Provide you with information about the training process
  • Support you in your training
  • Provide you with a certificate and restore it in case of loss
  • To continuously improve the training platfor

Depending on the agreement with your employer, we forward your training progress to your employer. The basis for this is our contract with your employer and the legitimate interest of the client to ensure the quality of the courses. This point is optional and is not used by every employer, if you have questions regarding our agreement with your employer, pleas contact us.

For this purpose, we use your contact data, IP address, learning progress data and any other data that you voluntarily provide. The processing of the data is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b) and f) GDPR in connection with our interest in improving the trainings. 

Your data will only be passed on to processors who provide essential services for the implementation of the training. In doing so, they will always remain in the EU. If you use the forum, other training participants can also view your messages.

How long will the data be stored?

Your data will be stored as long as necessary for the training and a backup period of six months. Your learning progress data will then be completely anonymized and used to improve our services.

What rights do you have under the General Data Protection Regulation?

You have the right to receive information about your stored data (Art. 15 DSGVO). If incorrect personal data is processed, you have the right to rectification (Art. 16 DSGVO). If the legal requirements are met, you can request the deletion or restriction of processing and object to processing (Art. 17, 18 and 21 GDPR). Furthermore, you have the right to data portability (Art. 20 DSGVO). In addition, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority for data protection.
